Arrival and Visas


Turan International University in Namangan provides an “Airport pick-up service” service for exchange students, depending on the agreement with the partner university. A free transfer will be organized from the arrival airport to your accommodation. Please note that the free airport pick-up service is only available at Namangan International Airport prior to the start of the student orientation program. Please ensure that you complete the online form by the appropriate deadline so that arrangements can be made for you. After submitting the online form, you will receive an email confirming that your place has been reserved and further instructions.

Visa to Uzbekistan Citizens of visa-free regime: citizens of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine DO NOT NEED A VISA to enter the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Stay for 30 days - Israel, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Tajikistan and Turkey. If you are not from one of the visa-exempt countries for Uzbekistan and are eligible for an e-visa, it will be easiest for you to apply. You can use iVisa services. The entire process happens online, and you only need a few things to get iVisa up and running. 

If you are not eligible for an Uzbekistan e-Visa, your only option is a consular visa. You can also obtain a visa upon arrival at Tashkent International Airport, but even this requires a visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. You need to obtain visa confirmation. In addition, if you are eligible for an e-Visa, you will see how affordable it is. Not to mention, you can receive your document in just 5 days. You can apply for a visa wherever there is an Uzbekistan embassy or consulate. Please note that required documents and visa fees may vary depending on your nationality and where you are applying from.
